This site is very popular because it’s the number one, if you will, site people use to find opportunities. You can search for any job in the country on this site. It is also very user-friendly.

Here are some steps to help you market successfully on Craigslist.

STEP 1 – SET UP GOOGLE VOICE ACCOUNT

This step is very important because it keeps you organized and helps you to be able to handle all of the leads that you will receive. Setup of a google voice is FREE, and very easy. Just go to http://www.google.com/voice to set up the account. It will ask you to create your voicemail right away, but you can set it later. So, you’d like to:

Click the “Voice Settings”.

Select “Voice & Text”

Click “Record New”, then follow the steps

STEP 2 – SET UP VOICE MAIL GREETING

Ron Gelok gave me this great voice greeting:

“Hello there, thank you very much for calling (Your name)’s office. You are most likely calling this number because of an ad on Craigslist. Currently, we are receiving a large number of calls. Please leave your number and what distinguishes you from other callers. You will be contacted in 48 hours.”

STEP 2 – SUBMIT YOUR AD

It is a good idea to have more than one account on Craigslist. This is because ads can be flagged or put on hold. This is not a problem, as it’s part of the marketing process on Craigslist. It is great to advertise in your local area. Especially if you hold meetings every week.

WHAT TO SPEAK TO YOUR LEADS IF THEY LEAVE VOICE MESSAGES?

What do you say back to your leads? Before I go any further, you need to have POSE. You might ask yourself: If you were someone else, would you prefer to do business with a person who lacked confidence and had no backbone? Or would you choose someone who was confident, sure of their own success, even if they didn’t have you there?

Your leads will be more interested and curious if you say that you possess the ” secrets to success”. Even if a person declines to take your opportunity, it’s no big deal. Your ads on Craigslist will continue to generate leads.
